On April 21st, 2022, the Executive Women’s Forum was honored to host their inaugural BISO Forum event: a fireside chat with Betsy Wille, DVP, CISO with Abbott Labs.
One of our very own EWF BISO committee members, Ogor Oghedo, facilitated a discussion on the evolution of the BISO-CISO Relationship and the synergies between the business and cyber. As we embark on the journey of the BISO, building strong relationships with the business and IT, it is crucial to effectively assess risk and build a broad understanding of our enterprise security posture.
As Betsy mentioned, “being the calm in the storm”, is how the BISO role can gain influence across our industries.
We are excited to see how our newly created EWF BISO Forum will impact the transformation and development of this role and with that, our industry.
Please find more information about Ogor and Betsy below and enjoy the recording of the fireside chat. EWF Connect Members can log into their account and watch the recording in the Resource Libary.
